This rare pair of Nikko Novar 7x49mm binoculars, manufactured in Tokyo, Japan, with a 7.1 field view and serial number 571868. Accessories: Includes original leather case stitching and closures intact carrying straps both in very good condition. These were purchased during the Korean War by a US Army doctor stationed in South Korea and are excellent condition. Exterior: Minor scratches and wear along the edges of housing, but overall very well preserved.

Manufacturer: Nikko Tokyo, Japan. Only minor cleaning marks as expected for their age. These binoculars are from the post-WWII/Occupied Japan era. Field of View: 7.1.

Optics: Clear, well-aligned, good condition with no major haze, chips, or fungus. Magnification / Objective: 7x49mm.
