Details:

I do not know the size required but they appear to be the thinness of an AA battery but shorter. As they are now they are in 15x mode. The body is in near perfect condition, no scratches or dents anywhere on the all metal body.

The batteries will only allow this to zoom from 6x to 15x. I'm not even sure how to price these but I will start buying at what I think is reasonable and go with that. Note that these do not include the necessary batteries x2 to make the electronic zoom work.

The glass lenses are free of scratches or cracks. Very, very nice and clear for their small size. Try as I might I have not been able to find information on these Unitron binoculars. What I have found is that Unitron is very well known for making excellent optical equipment like microscopes and such and they have a great reputation for quality.

They make several model's of binoculars but I have been unable to find information on this electric zoom model.

It does not appear to be bad and it looks like someone took some effort to clean some of it. I'm not even sure that 106E is the actual model number but I suspect that it is, that's what's on the box. These have excellent optical clarity. Original soft pouch and box top and bottom are included in this listing.

The batteries are not necessary to view through these fine binoculars. Also note that there is a small amount of corrosion inside one of the battery compartment.
