While looking through them they do focus, there is a bit of fuzziness however like I said am not an expert and sure if that from the rings forming on lens the branding almost unreadable.

There is either a crack or hair stuck between the lens.

With that being said I am not sure what happened to the lens but there seems be rings forming. You are buying on a vintage pair of Schutz Cassel binoculars model: Heliolith field view: 12x50made in Germany serial number: 42005 condition: rough antique condition I am not an expert at so will take as detailed photos can. I did notice that on the inside wall of one optics paint is chipping away.

When buying on an antique, vintage or a previously owned item please expect normal all around wear aging patina, etc.
