I was able to look out of the binoculars and focus easily. A small piece of the leather came of in a area look at picture 10 the leather is not crumbling or anything like that though.

6x ww1 up for sale is a Carl Zeiss jena. The leather strap is broken as well. The binoculars are sold as pictured and described.
