The compass works too. I put the originals back in so you'll need to replace those if you want back light work. They look like new and work perfectly. Had something close but they were just a touch too big.
They were a to him that he used keep on his boat which sold few years before died. Only hiccup is I don't have a pair of batteries to replace the ones that operated back light for compass. These were something I inherited after my dad passed. I think these were over $300 new.
